I already texted you but love Belle and Boo - really reminds me of Mabel Lucie Attwell illustrations (which I've always been a big fan off - see enclosed) but more modern and elf-like. I agree difficult to find good kids stationary and prob should find some good American brands to bring over - I love that letterpress is a big thing in the US where we have so little of it here - I do like Hello Lucky which you can buy here.
It's so difficult to find cute kid's cards here (or any cards for that matter). I always buy a good stash of cards whenever I go home to the US. It's a cute idea to sell them in our store.
Also, you mentioned selling goody bags -- it's a cute idea. Maggy & Rose has a very small little 'store' which is really just a shelf, but they sell goodybag items, which they like to promote for when they host parties.
We should think about whether we want to rent out our space for birthday parties, or even throw fun parties? If we did, it's a cute idea to sell party favor things so parents can buy it all there.
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I sort of like the idea of catering kid's parties. We could really charge a premium for it because we could provide the cupcakes/cake, cute birthday bunting and other decorations, goody bags, etc.
Maybe this is something we could do in the future, after we find our footing. ???
Get illustrators like the belle & Boo lady to design a loo - at Mother (ad agency) they would regularly re-do their toilets by giving the space over to illustrators / artists to do with as they wished - I like the idea of different cubicles designed by different folk.
